Incidentes

Incidents
Groups into a single incident the open issues that appear within the same 2-hour window in lineage-linked datasets, and points to the source dataset. Use it to tackle the cause at the source instead of treating each downstream symptom.
What you can do
- See, for each incident, the source dataset, severity, status, how many issues and datasets it involves and the dates it was seen between.
- Open “Show details” to see the “Impact tree”, with the source, the downstream datasets and each one’s issues, the “Affected consumers”, when there are any, and the “Grouped issues”.
- Read the blast radius on the “Impact:” line: how many downstream datasets and consumers the incident affects. When the source’s issues are about a column and there is column-level lineage, read from the views’ SQL, the tree leaves out the datasets that do not use that column and marks the others with “column …” (certain impact) or “possible” (the link to them has no column map). Without that lineage, the impact stays at table level and the line says “column-level lineage unavailable”. The Slack, Teams or email alert carries the same count.
- Request “Diagnose root cause”: the AI diagnosis starts from the source dataset, explains the downstream cascade and opens as a report.
- Return to the latest diagnosis with “View diagnosis” or request another with “New AI diagnosis”.
- Go to Issues to manage the incident’s issues one by one; isolated issues, with no cascade, only appear there.
